~Portraits in Blues~
Webb Wilder 01/29/2011
FitzGerald’s, is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and part of the celebration included Webb Wilder on January 29, 2011. Webb Wilder, "Last Of The Full Grown Men" as he refers to himself, is a rocker and roller from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He formed his band, The Beatnecks in 1985 and has been jumpin’ all over the world ever since. His music style includes, but is not limited to, rock and roll, ballads, country, and blues. He has even been in a few movies - check his website. Webb Wilder's lyrics are fun, but he takes his music serious. He has a loyal fan base that fills the venues, and Webb is also well known globally. Good ole’ rock and roll with plenty of humor to keep things interesting. Webb talks about how a song came to be and each song seems to have a lesson or rule of thumb to go by. More Like Me is the new collection of music Webb is performing and it is all good. Never a disappointment - always a good time.
