It was an outstanding show, no doubt about it! George & the Destroyers certainly have energy and performed flawlessly, as they always do. They did the classics and it always makes us feel good because George always remembers those who helped make music what it is today. It’s not just blues, not just rock & roll, but everything that keeps us coming back to the shows with all the enthusiasm we had when we all started going to concerts. For example he mentioned Howlin’ Wolf, Lightnin’ Hopkins, and John Lee Hooker. These are a few of the great bluesmen that we hear in the stylings of George Thorogood and The Destroyers.
