Here is a real “get-down” blues man that gets into your soul. Sitting at Buddy Guys on a warm spring night, groovin’ with Johnny and the band…well, it’s a great way to spend time. The blues that they play for us is mesmerizing, and draws us in… deep! His charismatic moves and singing make this Mississippi Blues man someone who can hold our attention. We just wanted him to keep playing and singing all night. Johnny has his own sound, that he’s been playing for many years. Watching him perform is a pleasure. We were definitely part of a special opportunity to be able to enjoy another great artist who has contributed so much in the way of this genre of music.
