Clancy’s in Portage, Indiana is THE place to be if you are looking for a friendly, intimate, neighborhood club. This establishment is owned and operated by Brendan and Michelle Clancy, who love good, live music and the fun that goes with it. Brendan had the BC Tap in Chicago, was a big support for the North Stage at Andersonville Midsommarfest, and now is involved in Portage’s Perchfest. As a matter of fact, if you listen to Liz’s song from her CD “RedTop”, the song called “Corner Bar Blues” is actually written about the BC Tap and some of people that frequent there.

Liz Mandeville and the Blue Points (Daryl Wright on bass/vocals and Greg Haar on drums) where absolutely sensational! Everybody had such a good time dancing and singing along with them, that it’s hard to say who had a better time – the artists or the fans. For sure, Liz made us feel like we were all friends, out on a Saturday night just having a good time and getting into great music.   She rocked us with her own original material plus Muddy Waters, Slim Harpo, and Sweet Home Chicago, just to mention a few.

Liz has so much energy and makes everyone come alive with her performance. Her humor and wit brings it home as she writes and sings about things everyone can relate to. She is one of the best entertainers we have seen, and it really was something to watch her and the band set up their stage, and then have the stamina to play for 3 ˝ hours. We can’t say enough about Liz Mandeville – you have got to experience her and the band for yourself.
