Following in the tradition of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughaun, Mato Nanji was born with the Blues flowing in his blood. I've lost count as to how many times I have seen him perform. On each occasion he puts on an incredible show, he is all about The Blues. Listening to him play fills you with a sense of Blues History... Each artists style had to begin with someone particular in mind, and then evolve into the person you see up on that stage at that particular moment. Mato Nanji does what he does, with the spirit of those we can only share through the recordings they have left behind. He keeps them alive in his music with what is - his own sound.
