Johnny Rawls 12/15/2011 Buddy Guy's / Chicago On a cold December night at Buddy Guy's Legends, Johnny Rawls and his band were providing all the heat that building could stand. It didn't take long and he had the crowd up in the aisles dancing. Seeing Johnny Rawls is truly an uplifting experience. Sounds of "The Soul Man" as he referred to himself with a smile - will surely pick you up from the BLUES and put that smile on your own face. He performed some of the fabulous songs featured on Memphis Still Got Soul, his latest release along with other favorites from his previous recordings. He showed an appreciative audience a great time covering songs ranging from Muddy Waters to Stevie Ray Vaughan.
